UniPath is a freestanding, independent laboratory that is free to define our quality standards outside the confines of a hospital system. UniPath considers our prompt and accurate handling of pap smears and biopsies one of the foundations of our practice. UniPath has now grown to not only diagnosing office biopsies but also local and rural hospital tissues.

UniPath incorporates extensive quality control and quality assurance at all phases of the process. Interdepartmental process evaluation is conducted regularly and improvements are implemented as identified. UniPath has developed departmental committees to interpret statistics, recommend new monitors, to discuss resolution of and follow-up on identified problems, and to explore ways of improving quality, efficiency, and cost effectiveness. Extensive internal education and external assistance is provided based upon these findings. UniPath also offers to clients a variety of month-end reports free of charge detailing patients information and individual clinician statistics, which my be beneficial to your individual practice.
