Ralph C. Giorno, M.D. is board certified in Clinical and Anatomic Pathology and the subspecialty of Immunopathology. He is Medical Director of UniPath Anatomic Pathology laboratory and diagnostic laboratory for Immunopathology. Pathologists from several states utilize this reference source. Under his guidance, the Immunopathology division of UniPath continues to implement advanced techniques in utilization of monoclonal antibodies for diagnostic purposes and application of molecular methods in diagnostic Pathology.
Dr. Giorno is a 1974 graduate of the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Upon graduation from Medical School, Dr. Giorno was selected as a participant in the Embryology Course at the Marine Biological Laboratory in Woods Hole, MA. Dr. Giorno then pursued a research fellowship in the Department of Biophysics and Genetics at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He did his residency at Mercy Medical Center in Denver. Dr. Giorno is an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. As a member of the Division of Clinical Immunology, he has participated in a number of research projects. |
