UniPath's new administrative offices.

Our CEO, Tricia Hughey, inspires the rest of us to be dedicated to what we do; she works as hard as anyone.

UniPath owns and operates its own courier fleet, providing prompt specimen pickup and report delivery, so you can know the results of your tests as soon as possible.

When you visit or call UniPath, you are greeted by our friendly front desk staff.

UniPath uses cutting-edge technology in its patient care. Though we only see a small part of a patient, each specimen represents a person that must receive the same care they would if we were face to face with us.
UniPath’s histology department takes the biopsy that is removed from a patient and carefully and expertly processes it, creating a slide that our pathologists use to diagnose diseases or conditions, which is then passed on to your doctor so they can know how to care for you.

Immunohistochemistry applies techniques to reveal distinct information about a disease so pathologists can see through the microscope information that allows your doctor to treat you with the appropriate medicines and therapies.

Fluorescence In Situ Hybridization is an technique used to help doctors confirm diagnoses and to help determine prognosis of a disease. It looks all the way to the genetic level of the cells in your body.

UniPath uses a technology called Flow Cytometry, which uses techniques to detect information using electronic equipment, revealing things about blood diseases like leukemia and lymphoma that provide guidance to your doctor as to how to best treat you

When a Pap test checks in, it never checks out. Instead, it is given a unique identifying number, and placed in a quality-controlled process to ensure it appropriate screening, delivering the highest possible level of diagnostic attention.
After a cytology specimen is accessioned, it goes to processing, where highly trained techs manage and maneuver the equipment to create a slide worthy of diagnostic use.

A specially trained cytotechnologist screens the slide for any abnormalities, and if anything out of the ordinary is found…

…it is sent to a pathologist for another level of screening and interpretation.
Unipath uses very advanced methods for detecting viruses and other pathogens that can cause problems, even leading to cancer. We combine expert human knowledge with state-of-the-art technology to identify any problems we can find.

Transcription is the backbone of the operation. They create the reports that the pathologists dictate so that physicians and patients can get their diagnoses as soon as possible.

UniPath’s physicians are always pulling people in to their offices to continue their education so that we can provide the best service to you and your doctor.

UniPath has two pathologists that are specialists in Dermatopathology, which is the study of skin diseases.

Our doctors are very serious about their work.
There is a great deal of training and cooperation at UniPath, as everyone is focused on the goal of providing the best patient care we can.
